my teaching approach
I believe there is no substitute for learning music and guitar technique correctly! I emphasise reading (often a neglected subject for guitarists), theory, musicianship and repertoire.
I believe in PRACTICING and having an organized practice SCHEDULE!
I believe music history and the history of the guitar are important to developing guitarists. Listening to and being exposed to great music and artists is important to forming individuality and taste.
Additionally, I try to inspire my students to work hard and to become the player they imagine and also to have fun and to enjoy the journey of developing their musical abilities.
