my teaching approach

Since I began to teach, I've been fortunate to teach in a variety of settings ranging from the classroom to private lessons. I've also taught in public schools in the New York area for the New York Pops education department. I assess  each students' strengths and weaknesses in order to develop a program suited to their abilities and interests.  I encourage students to work hard and love to see them progress to a high level of musicianship. My goal is to develop the students' love of music, which helps them  become a well-rounded musician.
