biography
A professional guitarist for 27 years, Daryle has performed with a who's who of Jazz greats, including Kenny Barron, Frank Foster, Slide Hampton, Gerald Wilson, Woody Shaw, Jack McDuff, Bob Brookmeyer, Bob Mintzer, Kenwood Dennard, The Cotton Club All-Stars and the Cotton Club Gospel Group.
Club work includes Jazz venues such as Fat Cat, Sweet Rhythm, St.Nick's Pub, Mintons, Cleopatra's Needle, The Lenox Lounge, The Groove, Smoke, Pumpkins
Daryle is a former Adjunct Professor at Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus.
my teaching approach
Every student is different and people learn in many different ways - tactile learning, aural learning, visual learning etc...
Therefore each student has to be addressed individually and an approach devised that meets their specific needs, allowing them to develop their love of music to the best of their ability.
