Adam Pache is one of the most accomplished and promising young jazz drummers to come out of Australia in recent years. During his career, Adam has recorded and/or performed with Clark Terry, Christian McBride, Robert Hurst, Junior Mance, Joey Calderazzo, Mike Nock, Barney McCall, Dale Barlow, William Galison, Don Burrows, Janet Seidel and many more.
In 1995, while still in school, Adam was awarded second place in the Billy Hyde’s Drummers Playoff. After study at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Adam traveled to New York City, where he studied with drummers Carl Allen, Greg Hutchinson and Rodney Green.
In 2001, Adam featured in the Australian Broadcasting Corporation television series "The Pulse" that documented Australia’s finest jazz musicians. The following year, Adam performed to an audience of 40,000 people at the Sydney Festival, with the Ben Jones Quartet.
In 2003, Adam performed a series of sold out concerts with Janet Seidel and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House, and at the Adelaide Festival Hall with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Tommy Tycho.
Adam has toured with the world extensively, reaching Japan, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Switzerland, Norway, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, Thailand, the Philippines, New Caledonia, Kuwait, The United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and the United States of America. In 2004, Adam was invited to the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland, where he performed with vocalist Inga Swearingen (USA) and as an accompanist for the Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition.
In 2006, Adam was awarded an Artist Visa to live and work in New York, where he is currently enjoying a busy schedule of performances.
Adam has a great deal of experience teaching the drums to students of all ages. In Australia he held artist in residence positions at several schools, including Kincoppal Rose Bay. Adam has led workshops and clinics in Thailand, the Philippines, and rural Australia, for the government funded organization, Musica Viva. He now has a steady roster of students in New York, and welcomes interested drummers of all ages and levels.

my teaching approach
I gear lessons towards the student's tastes and goals, with the emphasis always on making music on the drums. This helps students to stay motivated and gives them a deeper appreciation for all aspects of music making.
